The Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg announced this past weekend that Michael Weigl, Johannes Jung and David Dinski return to the German Baseball-Bundesliga roster. After a year-long break Jung is returning to the team. The 28-year-old outfielder came to Regensburg in 2013 and didn’t play last year due to his studies. 18-year-old Dinski returns after a nagging hand injury.
Weigl is a 36-year-old veteran, who already has played 197 games for Regensburg in the past. He also played for the Baldham Boars, Fuerth Pirates and Heidenheim Heidekoepfe. Last season he played baseball for the Deggendorf Dragons in the second division. The past few years he had focused on building his company.
