Merksem Royal Greys are still leading in Belgium Baseball

The Merksem Royal Greys (22-4) continue to lead the Belgium Baseball League with two victories over the Namur Angels last weekend, 4-0 and 12-1. The Royal Greys have a three-game lead over the Mortsel Stars.

The Stars (19-7) split two games with the Hoboken Pioneers (15-11) last week. Mortsel won the first game 5-4 before dropping the second game 10-3.

The Brasschaat Braves (17-9) and the Borgerhout Squirrels (9-17) split two games last weekend. The Squirrels took the opening contest 14-3 while Brasschaat stormed back to take the second game, 13-3.

In other league action, the Antwerp Eagles (4-22) swept two games from the Brussels Kangaroos (8-18), 5-4 and 9-1.
