French baseball player Melissa Mayeux is switching to Softball. The 18-year-old shortstop, who made international headlines by getting registered for the international amateur player list to get potentially signed by a MLB organization, will attend Miami Dade College in Florida to play softball. Playing baseball and softball for the French U18 and U19 national team in the past, she has been familiar to both sports, but was focusing more on baseball in recent years. Last year she played for the Montpellier Barracudas in the French Division I, this year for the Montigny Cougars.
