French infielder Maxime Lefevre has won the championship in the Canadian American Association with the Quebec Capitales. He is the third player from France to win the title with Quebec after Anthony Cros and Rene Leveret. It is their fifth championship in a row and sixth in eight years, which they clinched with a 15-7 victory in game seven of the best-of-seven final series. Lefevre batted .224 with two home runs, a triple, eight doubles, 45 runs, 24 RBI and 20 stolen bases in 73 games.
