Baseball America released its annual Top 100 Prospect list. For the first time since a couple of years a European player has been ranked as well. Outfielder Max Kepler of the Minnesota Twins, who celebrated his MLB debut last September, came in at 30th position. The 23-year-old Berlin, Germany native is trying to break Spring Training camp with the big leagues of the Twins.
However it’s not going to be easy, especially since his teammate Byron Buxton – also an outfielder – is in the number two spot behind the top-ranked Corey Seager of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Yoan Moncada (Boston Red Sox), Julio Urias (Los Angeles Dodgers) and Lucas Giolito (Washington Nationals) round up the top five.
