After winning the Florida State League with Fort Myers, German outfielder Max Kepler claimed another title in Minor League Baseball this past weekend. With the Salt River Rafters he won the Arizona Fall League, batting fifth and driving in a run in the championship game on Saturday. Overall he appeared in 19 games, collecting 23 hits in 79 at-bats, 14 runs, three triples, four doubles and seven RBI. He will be back at Major League Spring Training with the Minnesota Twins in February, being a member of their 40-man roster. 2015 could be his year to reach the big leagues.

This could be his year to reach the big leagues?
For a few spring training games?
This guy has not played 65 games in any of his 5 minor-league seasons. He’s never hit .270. His power is minuscule and so is his speed.
There are several reasons no European has ever played a full season in the major leagues. And young Mr. Kepler seems to embody them all.
