This week a local newspaper revealed some news for the Dortmund Wanderers. According to the report head coach and starting pitcher Matt Kemp and fellow American Trevor Howell will stay with the German Baseball-Bundesliga club. They are still looking to add another foreign player for the upcoming season in the northern division. Additionally Dennis Stechmann will play another season for Dortmund thanks to an agreement with the Paderborn Untouchables over a loan contract. The only known new player on the roster so far is Matthias Winklareth. The 23-year-old pitcher/infielder is coming from the third-division team Wuppertal Stingrays. He played for the German Junior National Team at the 2005 European Championship in Navarra, Spain.
