The Mannheim Tornados announced this past weekend that Martin Helmig is becoming their new general manager for the 2017 season in the German Baseball-Bundesliga. He already worked together with new head coach Daniel Husband with the Deggendorf Dragons, which will play in the second division next year. Helmig is still expected to remain manager of the German national team.
