Germany’s right-hander Markus Solbach was named pitcher of the week in the Can Am League for a second time this year. The hurler of the Rockland Boulders allowed one run on five hits in 7 2/3 innings in his last start to earn the honors. He improved to 8-3 with an ERA of 3.84 in 15 starts for Rockland. He struck out 69 and walked 19 in 96 innings so far. Its his second season with the Boulders.
