Telemarket Rimini has added a reliever for game one each week in the Italian Baseball League. The 25-year-old Venezuelan Marcos Tabata has been signed. He played five seasons with the New York Mets organization between 2006 and 2010, reaching High-A. Last year he spent with the Wichita Wingnuts in the American Association. He went 3-0 with an ERA of 4.67 in 26 games in 2011. He struck out 32 batters and walked 18 in 34 2/3 innings. This winter he played Winter League in his home country and also was at the Caribbean Series, playing alongside his new Rimini teammate Luis Maza.
