Mannheim Tornados add three new Players

Posted on March 9, 2015March 9, 2015 by philipp

The Mannheim Tornados announced at the end of last week that they will add three new players to the roster in the German Baseball-Bundesliga. 23-year-old shortstop Ian Vazquez, 21-year-old catcher Tim Veraghtert and 25-year-old infielder Mike Durham join the team for the 2015 season.

Vazquez is an attendee of Wagner College and Belmont Abbey College. The Puerto Rican with American passport replaces Spanish national teamer Emmanuel Febles on the team. Veraghtert made his Belgian national team debut last year and is coming from the Belgian champion Borgerhout Squirrels to Mannheim. Durham is from San Jose, California. He already played for the Tornados during the 2013 season.
