Outfielder Lorenzo Avagnina, who turned 30 in November, is leaving Telemarket Rimini to join T&A San Marino. The member of the Italian national team batted .270 (OBP .396/SLG .400) with three triples, nine doubles, 16 runs scored and a team-leading 28 RBI in 2010. With the transfer from the Pirates to the Titans he follows the path of new T&A general manager Mauro Mazzotti and fellow outfielder Laidel Chapelli. Avagnina began his career with Avigliana Baseball and made his Italian Baseball League debut with the same club in 2007. After their relegation he joined Montepaschi Grosseto in 2008 and Rimini in 2009.
