Once again a team from South Moravia, Czech Republic has qualified for the Little League World Series. The team defeated Uganda 7-3 in the decisive game on Thursday in Kutno, Poland to clinch the title at the European and African Junior League regional qualifier. Uganda was a tough opponent having defeated the Czech 10-0 in the first leg of the double elimination final. South Moravia defeated the LLB winners from Poland, Austria, Netherlands and Uganda on route to the final. Uganda edged out Italy twice and Germany-USA for a trip to the final.
