Kotlarka, Draci win on Thursday in Czech Extraleague

Kotlarka Prague and Draci Brno won on Thursday in the Czech Extraleague. Kotlarka won the city derby against the Eagles Prague 9-1. Mitchell Nilsson went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI. Petr Sila collected four hits and four runs in his six at-bats. Marek Cervenka pitched five innings for the win. Matej Husek got charged with the loss.

Draci got some payback against the Arrows Ostrava, which had defeated them 11-1 two days ago, winning 19-5 in a slugfest. Draci scored five runs in the third and six, as well as eight in the fourth. Pavel Budsky’s grand slam was his 150th home run in the Czech Extraleague. Martin Schneider collected five RBI. Tomas Polansky also hit a home run. Jakub Hajtmar had four hits and scored four runs.
