In the first of two exhibition games between these two baseball powerhouses Korea downed Cuba 6-1 at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea on Saturday. Game two takes place on Sunday. Korea took a quick 4-0 lead through three innings en route to an easy win over the record world champion. Tae-Kyun Kim went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI singles. Ah-Seop Son hit a solo home run. Korea previously had lost two games against NPB teams during a training camp in Japan, while Cuba split a two-game set against Chinese Taipei in Taichung, Taiwan.
