KNTU wins Ukrainian Championship

The season in the Ukrainian National Championship ended last weekend. KNTU missed the opportunity to produce a perfect season, but still won the league title with an impressive 29-1 record, while outscoring their opponents 443-71. They had a chance to remain undefeated, but lost the first game of the final series 4-11 against TNU. It is their 13th championship. Since 1995 the only other team to win a trophy was ATMA Kiev. The Ravens finished in sixth with just one victory in 30 games and gets relegated into Division B in 2009.

(*both games not played because of rain in Kiev)
KNTU – TNU 4-11, 12-2, 9-2
Diamant – KVINT 5-2, 5-1, 16-11
