The Australian Karen Marr is joining the coaching staff of manager Craig Montvidas for the Dutch Women’s Softball National Team as new pitching coach at the beginning of January. She will be working with pitchers and catchers during the next months, preparing them for the 2011 European Championship in Italy, where the Netherlands would like to defend its title. Marr coached in Australia before going to the United States, where she served as the pitching coach at the University of Louisville from 2004 until May 2010.
