Jupiter WBC Qualifier officially in September

Posted on July 4, 2012July 4, 2012 by philipp

The dates for the World Baseball Classic Qualifier in Jupiter, Florida now officially were confirmed for September 19 to 23, 2012. Originally set for November, the tournament was moved ahead apparently due to a scheduling conflict at the venue. The double elimination round with France, Israel, South Africa and Spain will be played at Roger Dean Stadium. France and Spain will participate in the European Championship, which ends on the weekend before the WBCQ. Tickets will go on sale on July 30th (tournament plans, group plans), respective August 13th (individual tickets). Prices range between 5 and 48 US Dollars. It is going to be one of four Qualifiers for the 2013 World Baseball Classic with the other three being played in Regensburg (GER), Panama City (PAN) and Taipei City (TPE).
