Dutch national team pitcher Juan Carlos Sulbaran has signed a minor league contract with the St. Louis Cardinals organization. The 26-year-old right-hander began his minor league career with the Cincinnati Reds in 2009 and spent the last four years with the Kansas City Royals. In 2015 he reached Triple-A with the Royals affiliate in the Pacific Coast League. Splitting time between Double-A and Triple-A he had a 7-10 record with an ERA of 5.24 in 28 games (23 starts).
