The Rouen Huskies announced throughout the weekend that Venezuelan catcher/first baseman Jonathan Jaspe returns to the reigning French Champion for the 2017 season. The former Double-A minor leaguer with the Toronto Blue Jays also played for Rouen last year, but had to leave the team due to family reasons shortly before the playoffs. He also has played for the Venezuelan national team at the Premier12 in Taiwan and Japan in 2015.
