The Therwil Flyers enter the 2019 season in the Swiss Nationalliga A with a new head coach. John Baum is going to the reigning Swiss vice champion. Baum is one of the most successful coaches in Swiss Baseball in the past two decades, leading the Bern Cardinals to seven Swiss championships within eight years. He has been working with the Flyers since mid-December.
