The American with Italian passport, Joey Schwartz, remains with the North East Knights. He came to Godo last winter after two seasons with the Goteborg Hajarna in the Swedish Elitserien. The utility player was used in both divisions of the Italian Baseball League. In the IBL1 he batted .208/.313/.278 in 20 games (19 starts).
