After having import players only for one season in the last couple of years, the Dohren Wild Farmers this time are able to keep at least one for 2012. Catcher Jeff Rustico will remain with the northern division club in the Baseball-Bundesliga. He also has taken over as head coach of the team. In 2011 he batted .421/.492/.477 with six doubles, 23 runs and 13 RBI. He also led the league with 21 caught stealings (47 percent caught stealing rate). Starting pitcher Garrett Rogers, who won the MVP Award in the northern division, is not expected to come back.
