Catcher Javier Flores follows pitcher Carlos Fente from EL LLANO to CB SANT BOI. He will replace Orlando Diaz (AVG .232/OBP .362/SLG .256) behind the plate, who is leaving for the FC BARCELONA. Their second catcher Alvin Figueroa (.338/.356/.426 in 17 games) was released. Flores batted .316 (OBP .389/SLG .412) with one homerun, eight doubles, 15 runs scored and 15 RBI in 32 games. He threw out 16 of 44 potential base stealers (36 %). The transfer of Fente to SANT BOI was confirmed several days ago. He had an ERA of 2.53 in eight games for the Gijon-based club last year.
