Japan, Cuba complete Field at Haarlem Baseball Week



Haarlem Baseball WeekThe organizers of the “Haarlemse Honkbalweek” announced on Wednesday that Cuba and Japan will complete the field of participants. The four other teams will be host Netherlands, the NJCAA All Stars (USA), Taiwan and Venezuela. Cuba won the tournament four times and finished in second place behind Team USA in 2008. Japan picked up the trophy three times.

The 25th edition of the tournament is scheduled between July 9th and 18th. The organizers also released the schedule with Japan and Venezuela open the event at the Pim Mulier Stadium in Haarlem, Netherlands. After a round robin the top four teams qualify for the semi-finals. The ticket sale for the Haarlem Baseball Week is expected to start in early April.
