Jannis Wedemeyer joins Hanover Regents

The Hanover Regents have added right-handed starting pitcher Jannis Wedemeyer. The 21-year-old, who played for the German national team at last year’s All-Star Game in Solingen, is coming from the Dohren Wild Farmers. The Regents and Wild Farmers have switched place in the German Baseball-Bundesliga. Wedemeyer, who spent some time in the United States during his school career, is considered as one of better pitching prospects in the northern division of the league.
