The Australian Baseball League continued with week two of the 2015/2016 season this past weekend. The Brisbane Bandits swept their four-game series against the Adelaide Bite to improve to 5-3 and moving into second place in the standings. The Canberra Cavalry remain on top after three wins in four games against the Melbourne Aces. The Perth Heat and the Sydney Blue Sox split their four-game set. Germany’s Jan-Niclas Stoecklin started game four of that series for the Blue Sox. Alike to week one he received a no-decision, going 3 2/3 innings, while allowing six hits, three runs and two walks. 43 of his 75 pitches were strikes.
