The Solingen Alligators have lost a major piece of their roster, as Jadd Schmeltzer has left the team immediately. The foreign starting pitcher is returning to the United States due to personal reasons. He just pitched a complete game shutout on Sunday, ending Solingen’s five-game losing streak. The team announced that they are probably not adding a replacement due to the short term nature of the departure. Meanwhile the club has brought in a new player, as German-American corner infielder Nolan Lang is joining the team after completing his college season in the US.
