Italy, Spain square off in 4-game Series ahead of European Championship

To finish off preparations for the European Championship in Bonn and Solingen, Germany (September 7 to 15, tickets available at www.baseball-em.de), the national teams from Italy and Spain will square off in a four-game exhibition series at the ballparks of CBS Sant Boi and CB Viladecans in Spain. The series will be played from September 1 to 4. Afterwards the two teams will travel to Germany for the European Championship. On September 1st additionally the Spanish Baseball and Softball Federation will celebrate the 75th anniversary following the game between the two European baseball heavyweights.
