With the Baseball World Cup starting on Wednesday the two teams which have a bye in round one, the Netherlands and Italy will open a four-game exhibition series on Tuesday. It is reminiscence at the European Baseball Series 2006, where the Dutch team captured the series win. The first two games will be played in Bussum, respective Eindhoven, Netherlands, the latter two in Godo and Ravenna, Italy.
