T&A San Marino evened the best-of-five Italian Baseball Series 2-2 against Rimini with a 3-0 shutout on Saturday evening. After losing twice at home last weekend they now have won both games on the road. Game five will follow on Sunday afternoon.

Tiago Da Silva was key to San Marino’s success, pitching 7 2/3 innings of scoreless five-hit, three-walk ball. Seth La Fera closed it out. Roberto Corradini conceded four hits, three runs and a base on balls in seven-plus innings to take the loss.

The Titans took a 2-0 lead in the second thanks to a RBI double by Joe Mazzuca and a RBI groundout by Francesco Imperiali. A sac fly by Giovanni Pantaleoni added an insurance run in the eighth. Jack Santora and Riccardo Bertagnon had two hits apiece for the Pirates.
