Israel is going to participate in the World Baseball Classic Qualifier in Jupiter, Florida this November. Playing against Spain, France and South Africa they hope to qualifier for the 2013 World Baseball Classic. The Israel Association of Baseball is currently recruiting players. According to an article at jweekley.com former Major Leaguers Brad Ausmus, Shawn Green and Gabe Kapler already expressed their interest to help as player or coach. They are planning for three tryouts.
