The Baseball & Softball club Hluboka has a full calendar of events prepared for the 2010 season. Among the events are also five tournaments.
The tournaments in Hluboka start with the Spring Training Cup, which is prepared for 4 to 5 teams during the weekend April 10th to 11th. This tournament is the latest preparation of teams before starting into the new season in the Ceskomoravska Baseballova League (2nd division). Already three teams confirmed its participation. Beside home team Sokol Hluboka, the Trebic Nuclears and the Tempo Titans Praha will arrive at the beautiful facility in Southern Bohemia. Also the National Team of Hungary is considering their participation. More information is in attached flyer.
The hot summer in Hluboka starts with the International Juveniles Tournament “Games of Friendship”, which is organized during the first July weekend. The organizers are working to get foreign juveniles teams into Hluboka. We can also expect the participation of the top Czech juvenile teams. How will the duel between the top Czech and foreign teams end up in the end? See attached flyer for more information.
One weekend afterward women will replace the juveniles on the field for the International Games of Friendship of Women. After last year’s premier edition the organizers also expect foreign teams in Hluboka. For more information see attached flyer.
Immediately after finishing the women tournament the Juveniles European Championship will be played in Hluboka. The Czech National Team has three consecutive wins, so will be the Czechs also successful at home? As of now the organizers have received the registration of the following teams: Czech Republic, Belarus, Russia, Austria, Ukraine, Lithuania and Romania.
The Men’s Games of Friendship will close July in Hluboka. The Cardinals would like to highlight their season with some games against teams which they didn’t meet every year. Hluboka is negotiating with a Croatian team and also the Hungarian National Team is thinking about their participation in Hluboka.
