After 2008 in Rouen/France, 2010 in Prague/Czech Republic, and 2012 in Wil/Switzerland Jim Evans and his crew will come back to Europe in April 2014 to train umpires from all over the world. Since its inception in 1989, the Academy has successfully trained thousands of students. Many of the graduates are working in the Major Leagues, the Minor leagues, Independent Leagues, the highest levels of High School and College baseball, and Youth Leagues around the world.
This time the JEEC will be hosted in Austria in cooperation between the Attnang Athletics Baseball Club and the Amateur Baseball Umpires’ Association Austria. The small town Attnang-Puchheim can be easily reached by flight to Vienna and high speed train. From Attnangs railway station to the field it’s just a 5 minutes’ walk.

Sunday, April 6th, 2014
Arrival till 6.00 pm
7.00 pm: Introduction Evening
Monday through Thursday, April 7th to 10th, 2014
7.00 am: Breakfast
8.00 – 12.00 am: Classroom
12.00 – 1.00 pm: Lunch
1.00 – 6.00 pm: Field Work
8.00 pm – open end: Video analysis, discussions
