International Sports Group conducts successful Clinic in Varazdin, Croatia

By International Sports Group

The International Sports Group continues its coaches training programs across Europe. The Clinic in Varazdin, Croatia was, once again, a successful endeavor. It was the 5th ISG clinic in the last 8 years in this northern Balkan country. Every club throughout the country was represented by coaches of all levels including juveniles, cadets, juniors and seniors as well as a presence of Hungarian coaches.

The lineup of instructors was without question, impressive. Shaun Cole, coordinator for USA Baseball’s Junior National team and one of the rising young pitching coaches presented practical easily digested information Also presenting were, Rick Johnston of the Baseball Zone in Toronto, well known across Canada and the United States, a former Olympian and Canadian Junior National team coach and Bill Percy, veteran high school coach, clinician, lecturer and MLB International Envoy Coach throughout this region of Europe.

What was especially pleasing was the amount of information (pitching, offense and defense) And the manner in which it was presented during the sessions. Presentations were simple, practical and applicable to the coaches and resources available to them..

ISG is dedicated to the development of coaches around the world and conducts ten or eleven clinics each winter.
