He is coming from the British Baseball champion LONDON METS. He was five years in the National Baseball League in Great Britain, winning the national title three times with the METS and the BRACKNELL BLAZERS. He batted .420 (OBP .490/SLG .538) during his time in the NBL according to the Great Britain Scorers Association website. Last season he was honored as best fielder at his position.
Holowaty also played in Australia in the past and is a vice president of the European Baseball Coaches Association (EBCA). In 2008 he was an assistant coach at the Trinity College (Div. III).
