Since middle of January, unique ice skating track can be found at Trebic baseball field in the Czech Republic. During the first weekend track welcomed 350 visitors.

Track is 417 m long and its maintenance is ensured by baseball players. They cover it daily by fresh water and clean the ice. “We cover the ice with 5000 litres of fresh water every evening. We clean it several times during the day to ensure best conditions for people,” said Jan Urbanek, President of Trebic Nuclears club.

Ice skating track is open every day. Besides athletes, families with children, it is used also by schools not only from the city but from the whole region. Ice skating is for free for them.

Weather forecast is good for the nearest future and so the visitors could break the record.
