The International Baseball Federation (IBAF) announced the schedule for the 18U Baseball World Championship in Seoul, Korea on Wednesday. Three teams from Europe, the Netherlands (Group A), Czech Republic and Italy (both in Group B), will play in the tournament from August 30 to September 8. After a preliminary phase the top three teams from each pool move up into the second round. The Dutch team finished in sixth place in the 2010 edition of the event, which was won by Taiwan.
