The best-of-seven Holland Series is back tied 2-2 after L&D Amsterdam beat DOOR Neptunus 3-1 on Saturday afternoon in front of 1,000 people in Ookmeer. It was the show of Rob Cordemans, who struck out ten batters in 8 2/3 innings. He allowed just three hits, a run and two walks, while throwing 124 pitches.
Only three Neptunus batters reached base against the right-hander in the first eight innings: Jeff Arends on an error in the fifth, Raily Legito on a walk in the seventh and Dwayne Kemp with a single in the eighth.
