On Sunday L&D Amsterdam was dominating early in the game, leading 2-0 after six innings. But when Curacao Neptunus tied the game in the seventh and took a 3-2 lead in the eighth on a RBI double by Gianison Boekhoudt it looked like Rotterdam is unbeatable in this year’s Holland Series. But the Pirates came through in the ninth and won the game with a five-run rally 7-3. Kenny Berkenbosch capped the scoring with a two-run double. Gilmer Lampe led all batters with four hits and three runs.
Game four will be played on Thursday.
