Holland Series continues tonight between DOOR Neptunus and L&D Amsterdam




A video recap by NOS television of game two last Sunday in Amsterdam.

The best-of-seven Holland Series continues tonight at 7.45pm CET with game three between DOOR Neptunus and L&D Amsterdam Pirates. Kevin Heijstek (NEP) and Frank van Heijst (AMS) are expected to take the mound as starting pitchers. The series is tied after the first two games, as the road team prevailed twice. In the opener on Saturday Jos de Jong pitched six strong innings to lead the Pirates to a 5-2 to win in Rotterdam. One day later the defending champion came back from a 1-3 deficit thanks to four runs in the top of the eighth, including a two-run double by Jeroen Sluijter for a 5-3 Neptunus win. Games four and five will follow on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
