The Spanish National Team earned their first win in South California. They defeated the Cal State San Marcos squad 2-0. Starter Yoel HERNANDEZ struck out eight in four innings. His new teammate at CB Sant Boi Jose CRUZ made his pitching debut as a reliever for Spain.
They will face the San Diego City College today to finish up their exhibition schedule. They are going to make the trip to Taiwan next week. Their equipment will be shipped out on Saturday March 1. Their first game in Taiwan is on March 7 against host Chinese Taipei.
