Two key matchups will be played in the southern division of the German Baseball-Bundesliga this week. The Heidenheim Heidekoepfe take on the Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg for a rematch of last year’s finals, when the Heidekoepfe erased a 0-2 deficit in the best-of-five series to win the German title. Additionally the Mainz Athletics host the Munich-Haar Disciples in duel between two hopeful contenders.
