The German Baseball-Bundesliga club Haar Disciples has added the 22-year-old left-handed pitcher Markus Prautsch to its staff. He is coming from the second-division team Freising Grizzlies, where he had an ERA of 4.41, 48 strikeouts and 36 walks in 65 1/3 innings. He won’t be available in the beginning of the season, as he is currently a freshman at Notre Dame College in Ohio. He is there together with his future teammate in Haar Tony Younis, a senior first baseman. Both are expected back in Germany after the conclusion of the college season in mid-May.
