Gregory Halman’s performance in the Arizona Fall League (AFL) has hit a speed bump. In his last ten games he only is batting .179 with 20 strikeouts in 39 at bats. There were two four-strikeout games among the ten, plus one with three. At least when he is hitting, he shows some power with five of his seven hits going for extra bases, including two homeruns. Overall Halman has a batting average of .237 (OBP .274/SLG .458) with twelve runs scored and eight RBI in 15 games. Especially right-handed pitchers are troubling the Haarlem (Netherlands) native. In 47 at bats he is batting .170 with 22 strikeouts. Against southpaws he has six hits in twelve at bats. The AFL continues till November 20th.
