Four weeks before the start of the EBCA Convention in Cologne, Germany (November 12-14), the organizers were able to bolster the speaker lineup even further. German national team and Georgia State head coach Greg Frady and Chicago White Sox minor league strength and conditioning coach Tim Rodmaker will join Tom O’Connell, Brent Strom, Mike Barnett and Brian Farley as speakers during the three-day clinic.

Greg Frady
Greg Frady is currently the head coach of Georgia State University and the German National Team. Coaching Germany since 2004 he led them back into the A-Pool and to two fourth places at the European Championships in 2005 and 2007, as well as a bronze medal at the 2010 European Championship, their best finish in 35 years. He also was at the helm for Germany during the 2007 and 2009 Baseball World Cups, the 2008 Final Olympic Qualifier and the 2009 World Baseball Challenge, where they finished in second place and beat Team USA for the first time.
Frady played four seasons at Troy State University during his active career, winning the NCAA Division II title in 1986. He began his coaching career two years later as an assistant for Columbus State. He became head coach of North Florida Community College in 1990. In 1997 he began working as associated head coach at the University of Central Florida and got the same position at Georgia State University in 2004. Since 2006 he is the head coach at Georgia State.
Frady received his bachelor’s degree in education and recreation from Troy State in 1987, and earned a master’s degree in administration from Columbus State in 1989.
Tim Rodmaker
Tim Rodmaker is a National Strength & Conditioning Association Specialist, as well as a USA weightlifting Certified Sports Performance Coach.
Since 2006, Rodmaker is a Strength and Conditioning coach in the Chicago White Sox organization, currently with the Kannapolis Intimidators.
Rodmaker, who is also coaching for the company Velocity Sports Performance, has started to work for Major League Baseball in Europe as a Strength & Conditioning coach in various European academies since last year and is back in 2010.
