Great Britain Baseball is pleased to announce the appointment of Glen Robertson as the new General Manager for the Men’s National Team. Robertson will take the reins with immediate effect, and will work closely with Head Coach Sam Dempster and the rest of the staff to ensure that Team GB is well prepared for the European Championships to be played in Germany and the Czech Republic from 11-20 September.

GREAT EXPERIENCE

Glen Robertson was born in East London and now lives with his wife and daughter in Essex, where he is an operations manager for a telecommunications company. He will bring 20 years of experience running companies to the organisational requirements of the GB Team. Robertson  is also an active member of Brentwood Baseball Club.

REACTIONS

Robertson said, “I am delighted to be joining Team GB and working alongside Coach Dempster and his staff. I am determined to provide a first class experience for the team and to assist the BBF in the continued development of the sport in this country.“ BBF National Teams Programme Director, Marty Cullen said, “Having a guy like Glen on board is a game changer. People don’t realise how tough this job is. Glen’s professional experience is the key. I think he’ll make a real difference.”
