The Godo Knights and ASD Parma prevailed in their Italian Baseball League matchups on Saturday. The Knights edged out Tommasin Padua with a 1-0 shutout. Matteo Galeotti and two relievers kept Padua to six hits in nine scoreless innings. Eugenio Morani scored the lone run in the third.
Parma downed Nettuno 4-3 in nine innings, scoring the game-winner on a walk-off RBI single by Alessandro Deotto. Daniele Santolupo went 3-for-5 with two RBI. Davide Murari scored twice for Nettuno.
Already on Thursday and Friday Unipol Bologna had completed a sweep against Nettuno 2 and T&A San Marino split against ASD Rimini. Bologna has now a two-game lead in the standings, followed by Rimini, Padua and San Marino.
