The German Baseball and Softball Federation (DBV) has announced the roster for the World Port Tournament in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Head coach Greg Frady and assistant coaches Troy Williams and Dirk Fries have selected a young team for the international baseball tournament, which also features teams from Cuba, the Netherlands, Taiwan and Curacao. 16 of the 24 players are from northern division teams in the German Baseball-Bundesliga. They will use the opportunity to evaluate some players in regards of a potential participation at the IBAF Baseball World Cup in Panama in October. Germany is going to travel to Rotterdam on June 21 to finish up preparations on site. Two days later they will open the tournament against Taiwan.
