German RHP Markus Solbach joins San Marino for 2020 Season

After the minor league season in the United States was cancelled German right-hander Markus Solbach of the Los Angeles Dodgers selected San Marino to play for in the 2020 season. The 28-year-old split time between the Arizona and Texas League in 2019 with the Dodgers with an ERA of 3.25 in 14 games (13 starts). His stint with the Dodgers is his third in affiliated minor league ball after the Minnesota Twins and Arizona Diamondbacks. He also played in Independent Leagues and obviously in the German Baseball-Bundesliga, where he last was with the Bonn Capitals.
